Diversified Vegetable Farm Tour

Join Jerry Iles, OSU Extension Educator, and farmers Josh and Lynne Schultz of Schultz Valley Farms for a tour of this diversified family farm and to learn how they use high tunnels for season extension. The Shultz family grows greens, sweet corn, root vegetables, eggplant, melons, and other crops for market and restaurant sales and a successful community supported agriculture (CSA) program.
This event is offered by The Ohio State University Sustainable Agriculture Team as part of the 2016 Ohio Sustainable Farm Tour and Workshop Series. In total, the series features 32 farm tours and 10 educational workshops, offered in partnership with OEFFA, Advancing Eco Agriculture, Ashtabula Local Food Council, Columbus Agrarian Society, and Our Harvest Research and Education Institute.
