OEFFA Heart of Ohio Chapter Meeting: Using and Obtaining Rain Water from Multiple Sources
Pataskala, OH
Monday, May 15, 2017
6:30 p.m.
John and Anne Hohmann collect rain water through a multitude of sources and use this water for both agriculture and personal use. Using a system of rain barrels, cisterns, and a pond, the Hohmann's water their livestock, irrigate their garden, and supplement their grey water for personal use. Attendees will be in for a real treat on this farm visit!
This presentation and discussion is part of the Hearth of Ohio Chapter's 2016-2017 event series, "Sustainable living and farming/gardening in a changing climate." Each meeting's discussion will provide information for urban and rural farmers and gardeners. All meetings begin with a short business meeting, which usually includes information concerning farm policy.
