1-3:30pm
If you have ever thought of owning a goat herd or if you are new to owning goats and want to learn about the birthing or "kidding" process and how to care for newborn goat kids, this is a great opportunity you don't want to miss. H&M Family Farms, Mike & Angie Hall and family, will be hosting a goat kidding workshop on Saturday February 4th from 1-3:30 pm at their farm located outside Bucyrus, Ohio.
The workshop will focus on preparing does for kidding, the kidding process, as well as taking care of new born goat kids. This is an on-farm workshop where participants will be able to view first hand and learn from farmers who actually do the work. Participants will be able to discuss and view the on farm set up, learn about care of expecting does, view the facilities, and learn how to care for new born kids. There will be insightful and helpful "how to" tips that participants can apply to their own farms.
If you are interested in attending this workshop registration is required before February 2, 2017. Cost is $25/person and $40/farm couple payable at the workshop. To register or for more information, contact Mike Hall at 419-561-8280 before Feb. 2nd.
