Season Extension Class, Working with Low Tunnels and Cold Frames

Joshua Jones, Turner Farm Community Garden Manager, will lead this work and learn educational program at the East End Community Garden. Joshua will teach when, why, and how to use Low Tunnels and Cold Frames through discussion and hands-on experience of installing low-tunnels and a cold frame. He will also review the types of vegetable plants that do well in cooler weather and the basics of managing low tunnels to extend the growing season late into the fall.
This class is FREE and open to the public.
