Join Agraria Naturalists and Regional Educators for this immersive 1-day training on the Agraria land! Participants will learn practical tools to engage and inspire students in their schoolyard, backyard, and other outdoor settings. 1/2 CEU available.

Educators will share their knowledge and tricks for success for interdisciplinary nature-based learning outside, including how to prepare their class for the logistics and expectations when outside, modeling and practicing activities and behaviors, and the art of flexibility. In addition, participants will learn about what Agraria has to offer around the Big Map Out! Project- an interdisciplinary, standards-based curriculum for elementary classroom use.

Participants in this program will leave with tools, skills and confidence to successfully take students outside and some key activities from our Map Out curriculum.

This training is geared toward classroom teachers, however is also great for parent, homeschool, after school and childcare educators.
