Blackberry Cane Pruning Workshop

Designed for beginning growers, Central State University Extension (CSUE) is partnering with the Agriculture Incubator Foundation (AIF) Farm to teach a hands-on workshop in blackberry cane pruning.

The program, which will take place beginning at 1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25, at the AIF Farm located at 13737 Middleton Pike, Bowling Green.

Participants will:
- Learn how to prune out the old canes and train next year's canes
- Learn how to prepare the blackberry canes for winter
- Learn how to reduce disease and increase blackberry yields

Presenters will include CSUE Agriculture/Natural Resources Educator Michelle Wallace.
