Free Children’s Activities, Live Farm Animals, Vendors from Both of Oxford’s Farmers Markets, Cooking Demonstrations & Informational Talks, Homemade Food for Sale All Afternoon, Lively Music by Amy Clay, Susan Pepper and Friends, Student and Community Organizations Supporting Local Farming and Healthy Food

Stage Schedule:
1:30 p.m. GMO’s and Food Labeling Laws in the U.S., California’s Proposition 37 Takes Center Stage” by Alfredo Huerta, Associate Professor of Botany at Miami.

3:00 p.m. Presentation by Sidra McNeely from the Dayton Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism.

4:30 p.m. What does Organic Food Mean? What does Certification Mean? Talk by Harv Roehling, local market gardener, long involved with OEFFA, the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association.

Food Demonstrations:
2:30: Betty Quantz, great cook, famous for her cupcakes at the Farmers Market Uptown.

4:00 Barbara Stewart Smith, the deli manager of the MOON Coop Market.
