NRCS Conservation Planning for Organic Farmers and Ranchers

This webinar is part of series on becoming a Technical Service Provider (TSP), and will explore the writing of conservation activity plans for transitioning organic producers.

The National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) and 10 partners are offering the webinar series on how to become a TSP for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and assist transitioning and certified organic producers.

The webinars are part of an NRCS National Conservation Innovation Project.

“Doing NRCS Conservation Activity Planning for Organic Farmers and Ranchers” will be presented by Katy Green. Katy is the Organic Transitions Coordinator for the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA). She will share examples from a couple of different conservation activity plans she developed for organic farms in Maine as well as share her experiences as a TSP for NRCS.
