Meadow Rise Farm, a small family operation, practices sustainable growing techniques as an OEFFA Certified Organic farm, including cover cropping and crop rotation, and other organic techniques to sustain our soil. We grow intensively on about 2-3 acres. We like to think that our produce is the next best thing to your back yard. We have a local 50-member CSA in Richland County, Ohio, delivering in Lexington, Ohio, on Wednesdays at The Happy Grape wine/bistro bar. With our new Organic Food Card, people put dollars on a gift-type card and then use that to select what they want every week. Adding more value on the card is easy, so you can spend the amount you choose for the vegetables you like. We sell at the Clintonville Farmers Market on Saturdays from the last Saturday in April till the Saturday before Thanksgiving in November. Look for us in the Donato's lot! We are also offering the Organic Food Card for market shoppers. The minimum value on the card is $100, and then our customers can continue to use it and add more value whenever needed. It's nice not to need cash at the market! Of course, we do also take cash plus debit/credit cards at the market, as well as WIC coupons, market snap tokens, and senior coupons.
