Description
Chagrin Valley School is a self-directed, democratically run school (based on the Forest Kindergarten/Sudbury models) for ages 3-19, situated on a permaculture farm. Kelly's Working Well Farm is a small scale, diversified farm designed and operated using permaculture principles. Located less than a mile from downtown Chagrin Falls, we have chickens, ducks, sheep and goats, plus dogs and cats and sometimes pigs. We are developing a small swaled orchard polyculture/food forest along with animal fodder plantings. We also feature several natural buildings using straw-bale, cob and slipstraw, and incorporating rocket mass heaters.
