Produce. We grow most all of the typical items such as tomatoes,zucchini,sweet onions,potatoes,garlic, peppers, eggplant, beans, beets, cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, radishes, scallions, kohlrabi, greens,cabbage,but we also grow many herbs and we not only grow lettuce in the soil, but we have an aquaponics system that we also grow lettuce in. Some unusual crops that we grow are ginger and turmeric.
Description
We are a small family farm (about 5 acres) that uses sustainable farming practices. We protect our soil by using crop rotations and green manure. Succession plantings utilizes the best use of space that we grow on. We have operated a CSA for 11 years and have participated in the Countryside Farmer's Market for 14 years.
