Description
We use biointensive crop production on about 1 acre of our 9 acre farm, which features a renewable energy bio-integrated greenhouse powered by a wind turbine and solar PV, and solar thermal for heating. We also have a passive solar greenhouse (high tunnel) and raised bed field crop areas. We use aquaponics and vermicomposting in the bio-integrated greenhouse. We grow about a dozen fresh cut herbs and salad greens, our primary products.
