Speak Your Truth to Build Power Leadership and Advocacy Training
Online workshop
Monday, December 7, 2020 through Tuesday, December 8, 2020
10-11:30 a.m.
The ability to communicate effectively and tell a compelling story is a key leadership skill. Great storytelling can highlight and persuade, bring issues and statistics to life, and make the impact of external factors, such as policy decisions, more tangible to audiences.
To build this critical skill among Ohio farmers and food system leaders, the Institute for Conservation Leadership will host a two-session training on communications and storytelling skills Monday, December 7 and Tuesday, December 8 from 10-11:30 a.m.
The training will focus on the elements of effective storytelling, communications strategies, and public speaking with an eye towards issue advocacy. Through a hands-on learning process, attendees will build community with other leaders and specific communication skills for their context.
This meeting will be held on Zoom. Login information will be provided prior to the meeting.
Cost: $25 members/$35 non-members
