10:30 a.m. ET
Sasha Miller applied the permaculture design process to implement regenerative practices on a 12 acre ridge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, as part of the Countryside Initiative Program. Join this tour and discussion to learn about the permaculture design process, establishing a cider orchard, raising pastured pork, and outdoor shiitake production. The tour will be held from 10:30 until noon. Bring a brown bag lunch if you'd like to stay to eat and have a discussion beginning at 12 p.m.
Registration: $5 members/$10 non-members. Pre-registration is required by September 23.
For the safety of guests, all farm tours require pre-registration, attendance will be limited, and CDC guidance for outdoor gatherings will be followed.
This event is part of the 2021 OEFFA Sustainable Farm Tour and Workshop Series. Learn more about other events in the series at oeffa.org/farmtours.
