Film Screening of Gather
How indigenous individuals are reclaiming their cultural identity through food sovereignty

Kent Free Library will host a screening of the 2020 Monument Releasing film Gather, about how indigenous individuals are reclaiming their cultural identity through food sovereignty. The next Monday, October 25 at 7, Martha Gaffney of Martha's Farm in Ashland will share how she has incorporated Incan and Ecuadorian ethnic food and farming traditions into Northeast Ohio farming.
There is no registration for these free events. For adults ages 18+. These programs are part of the NEA Big Read Northeast Ohio. The NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
